Surging flow front traveling approximately 33 m per minute down the central channel of ‘a‘a flow west of Royal Gardens subdivision. The flow was erupted from Pu‘u ‘O‘o during episode 4 (photo by R.W. Decker, 6/16/83, RD68309)
